I don't believe in doing something just because. No witch does any work on the basis of 'just because', only someone who dabbles does this. Binding, devouring, summoning are all done based upon the necessity at the time. What is needed in order to deal with a situation or obtained a desired result? Intention is everything. Even if my intention is merely to garner enough energy to clean the house. To catch and bind a spirit just because it makes you feel like a 'bad ass' means you deserve exactly what you get in the end.
